Our mandate is
to:
- Promote the digital
marketing industry's strengths in the media
and through participation in its own events
and those of other organisations
- Conduct research and
develop clear, defensible positions on industry
issues
- Lobby governments
throughout the region and brief officials
on key issues
- Define industry standards
and arbitrate cases of dispute or misconduct
ADMA aims to be:
- Guided by senior executives
in the industry and member companies
- Truly regional in
scope (all Asia, ex Japan)
- Driven by Asian concerns,
rather than having a global, PRC, Hong Kong
or
Singapore focus
- Task-oriented
- Not focused on event
organization, but rather on participation
in
other events
The bigger picture
As the industry develops, ADMA
aims to retain a position as
a pillar
of the
industry, committed
long term to
driving the medium's growth
and sophistication. Especially important
is the promotion
of digital marketing as
a key activity within the total
marketing mix: campaign-driven
marketing involves
many media,
with on-line playing
an important role.
The advertising industry is
already represented by the
4A's, the
International Advertising
Association and the Interactive
Advertising Bureau. The vision
is for ADMA to actively participate
as a member in
these relevant organizations.
ADMA will be led by a committee
of senior industry executives,
who will
address
issues and drive
the industry agenda in Asia,
rotating the chairmanship amongst
members.
The general membership of ADMA
will include individuals and
companies pursuing digital
marketing solutions
in Asia, including but not
limited to:
- Internet portals
- Digital marketing
firms
- Advertising/PR agencies
- Research companies
- Leading advertisers
(on-line and traditional media)
